Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using DocumentEase products, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use the products.

Product Scope

DocumentEase provides professional engineering documentation systems and assessment tools, delivered as downloadable files.

Products are:

  • Static
  • Offline-capable
  • Deterministic
  • Engineer-controlled

DocumentEase does not provide hosted services, accounts, or live system access.

License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the products internally within your organization.

You may:

  • Use the products on multiple internal projects
  • Modify files to suit your workflow
  • Generate customer deliverables

You may not:

  • Redistribute the original product files
  • Resell the products
  • Share the products publicly or with third parties outside your organization

No Warranties

DocumentEase products are provided "as is."

While they are designed for professional engineering use, DocumentEase makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Regulatory approval
  • Project outcomes
  • Acceptance decisions
  • Fitness for a specific purpose

Engineering judgment remains the responsibility of the user.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocumentEase shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of business or revenue
  • Project delays or disputes
  • System outages or failures

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

Updates & Versions

Purchases include updates within the purchased major version line.

Major version changes may be released as separate products.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
